After you receive an order in your Shopify store, you need to place, pay for, and then sync your AliExpress orders individually or in bulk.

If your order doesn't show up in Oberlo, then you need to fix your missing order.

Requirements

Before you begin, review the following requirements:


Place AliExpress orders individually within Oberlo

Now you can start placing your AliExpress orders individually within Oberlo. If your Shopify order contains products from multiple AliExpress suppliers, then you need to repeat the following steps and place separate AliExpress orders with each supplier.

Note: AliExpress coupons and discounts don’t work when placing AliExpress orders within Oberlo. If you want to make use of your AliExpress coupons or discounts, then you need to place the order manually on aliexpress.com and the copy/paste the AliExpress order number in Oberlo.

Steps:

  1. From your Oberlo admin, click Orders.

  2. Click ORDER next to the order you want to place.

  3. Optional: If your product is out of stock, then you need to change your product’s supplier to place the order. Otherwise, you need to cancel and refund your order.

  4. In the Order products side panel do the following:

    1. Review your customer’s shipping address details. If you want to edit them, then in the Shipping address section, click Edit.

    2. Review your note to the supplier. If you want to adjust it, then in the Product section, click EDIT.

    3. In the Shipping method field, select a shipping method for each product. If you want to automatically select your preferred shipping method, then configure your Suppliers settings.

    4. Review your order’s estimated total. Your estimated total is shown in the currency of your Shopify order and in USD. Your order is always placed in USD currency, but you can choose the currency you want to pay for your order on AliExpress.

  5. Click ORDER. Your order’s status changes to To pay.

After you place your order, you need to pay for it on AliExpress.


Place AliExpress orders in bulk on AliExpress

To place AliExpress orders in bulk, you need to have the Oberlo Chrome extension installed in your Google Chrome browser, and be on the Boss plan.

Steps:

  1. From your Oberlo admin, click Orders.

  2. Use the checkboxes to select the orders that you want to place in bulk. You can select an unlimited number of orders from multiple pages in Oberlo. To select orders across multiple pages, use the page navigation at the bottom of the page.

  3. Click PLACE # ALIEXPRESS ORDERS. The extension adds your products to the shopping cart, selects the shipping methods according to your suppliers settings, and solves any CAPTCHAs automatically on behalf of you,

  4. Optional: If there are any issues with your orders such as an incorrect shipping address or a product is out of stock, then the extension stops and shows you a notification about an issue. Click SOLVE to be directed to the AliExpress checkout to fix the issue or skip an order to continue the bulk ordering process.

  5. After the extension places all of your orders, then you receive a confirmation message on the Orders page in your Oberlo admin. The extension syncs your AliExpress orders' IDs back to Oberlo and changes your orders' status to To pay.

  6. Optional: If you want to review your orders and which shipping methods were selected for each order, then click OPEN STATUS PAGE > OPEN ALIEXPRESS ORDER LIST. Review your orders` information and go back to the status page in Oberlo. If you want to change the shipping method for an order, then you need to cancel it and place that order separately.

After you place your orders, you need to pay for them on AliExpress.


Pay for AliExpress orders on AliExpress

After you place your order, you need to pay for it on AliExpress.

  1. From your Oberlo admin, click Orders.

  2. Click PAY ON ALIEXPRESS next to the order you’ve placed. Then on AliExpress orders list click Pay now next to the order you want to pay for, add a payment method, and click Pay now. After you pay, you need to click Sync with AliExpress next to your order in your Oberlo admin to update your order’s status to Awaiting shipment.


Sync AliExpress orders

To sync orders means to update your order’s information, such as your order’s status or tracking number from AliExpress to Oberlo. After the supplier ships out your order, you receive an email and your order gets a tracking number on AliExpress. You then need to sync your order’s information with Oberlo.

After you sync your order that is shipped on AliExpress, the following changes happen:

  • Your order’s status changes to Shipped in Oberlo.

  • Your order is marked as fulfilled in Shopify.

  • The order’s tracking number is synced with Oberlo and Shopify.

  • If you have configured the automatic shipping confirmations notifications, then your customer receives an order confirmation email or SMS.

If you want to see the date and time of your last order sync, then go to Oberlo admin > Orders > click Actions next to an order. The date and time are based on the timezone you select in your Other settings.

Sync AliExpress orders individually within Oberlo

You can sync your order individually within Oberlo up to 3 times in 24 hours within Oberlo.

Steps:

  1. From your Oberlo admin, click Orders.

  2. Find the order that you want to sync.

  3. Click SYNC WITH ALIEXPRESS.

Sync AliExpress orders in bulk within Oberlo

You can sync your order in bulk (last 5, 10 or 30 dats) within Oberlo up to 3 times in 24 hours within Oberlo (per each option).

Steps:

  1. From your Oberlo admin, click Orders.

  2. At the top of the Orders list click SYNC WITH ALIEXPRESS.

  3. Then click LAST 5 DAYS, LAST 10 DAYS, or LAST 30 DAYS.
