Oberlo is only compatible with the Shopify platform. Oberlo does not support any other ecommerce platforms.

If you don’t have a Shopify store created yet, then you can sign up for a free Shopify 14-day trial.

Shopify Sales Channels

With the Shopify platform, you can sell products using other sales channels too. A few examples are Facebook and Instagram, or Messenger.

To learn more about each Shopify sales channel, check out the Sales Channels article in the Shopify Help Center. Take note that each sales channel is unique, and might have specific requirements.

If you intend to sell on eBay or Amazon, then be sure to read through their dropshipping policies first.

Using Oberlo on a third-party ecommerce platform

A Shopify store is necessary to use Oberlo, but you can still take advantage of Oberlo on your third party ecommerce platform using Shopify’s Buy Button sales channel.

Buy Button allows you to embed products, collections, and a checkout onto your existing ecommerce website or blog. Buy Buttons can show pictures, descriptions, and prices. Your customers can purchase products without leaving your website.

When you receive an order for that product, the order will populate into your Shopify admin. Then, you can place the order with your supplier using Oberlo.

Note: To use the Buy Button on your existing website or blog, you will need access to the website’s HTML code.

Check out the Buy Button article in the Shopify Help Center to learn more about setting up and customizing a Buy Button.
