If you need to change your order’s shipping address details or change your order’s products then you can edit your order's information in your Oberlo or Shopify admin. You can edit your order information for orders that aren’t placed with the supplier yet.

Change your order’s shipping address details

You can change your order’s shipping address details in your Oberlo admin. After you change your order’s shipping address, it’s updated in Oberlo and in AliExpress when you place your order. However, the address details aren’t updated in your Shopify admin.

If you've already placed your order with the supplier, then you need to contact the supplier and ask them to change the shipping address. However, suppliers aren’t obliged to change your order’s shipping address.

Steps:

  1. From your Oberlo admin, click Orders.

  2. Find the order that you want to edit and click on your customer’s name.

  3. Update your shipping address details. If you need to change the Country/region, then click Shopify admin.

  4. Click SAVE.

You can also change your customer’s shipping address details for your unfulfilled orders in Shopify admin. After you change the address details in your Shopify admin, they’re automatically updated in your Oberlo admin.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Orders.

  2. Click the order that you want to edit.

  3. In the SHIPPING ADDRESS section, click Edit.

  4. Update the shipping address, and then click Save.

  5. From your Oberlo admin, click Orders, and then check if your order's shipping address has been updated.


Change your order's products

If you need to add, remove, or adjust product quantity for a product in your order, then you can edit your order in Shopify admin. You can edit only unfulfilled Shopify orders.

For example, your customer places an order with your store and then asks you to add one more product to their order.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Orders.

  2. Click the order that you want to edit.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. Edit your order:

    • To adjust product quantity, click Adjust quantity.

    • To remove a product from your order, click Remove item.

    • To add a new product to your order, click Browse > select a product > click Done.

  5. Click Update order.

After you edit your order in Shopify, your order is automatically updated in Oberlo. Learn more about editing your orders.


Change your product's supplier for your current orders only

If you want to change your product’s supplier for your current orders only, then you can replace your order item from the Orders page in Oberlo.

For example, let's say a new supplier runs a sale on a product that you usually purchase from a different supplier. You can replace your order item for your existing orders to use this new supplier and take advantage of the sale, but keep your original supplier for future orders after the sale ends.

Steps:

  1. Find a product to replace the existing order item and copy the product URL from your browser’s bar.

  2. From your Oberlo admin, click Orders.

  3. Click EDIT next to the order item that you want to replace.

  4. Click Replace order item.

  5. In the Replace order item window, paste the replacement product URL.

  6. In the Select variant field, select a product variant that you want to replace with.

  7. Choose whether you want to apply this change to a single order or all orders:

    • To replace your order item for a single order, select Selected order only.

    • To replace your order item for all orders that are in the To order status, select All XX orders in “To order” status.

  8. Click REPLACE.
